DIY Nails - 2 -

I have decided to make another pair of nails :] Though this pair actually already has the pre-design on it. The original design was kinda cute but it was still a bit meh. So I just added some decals to make them look more fun heheh

With the previous experiences, I have made nearly no mess this time! Though it took me nearly an hour just to file all these nails to make them fit.

DIY Nails

I just received my eBay hauls yesterday. Both are shipped from Hong Kong. Shipment only took about a week.. *whew* And of course, I can't resist to play with them immediately :P It been fun to make my DIY nails, except I keep getting the glue all over my fingers heehe :]

So it all started with bare nails. The nails that I'm using is from Kiss - Custom Fit

It's my day off today and I'm certainly is bored out of my mind :P So I decided to paint my nails a bit as I have not painted them at all lately (umm.. ok.. for a week maybe) I opened the drawer and grabbed my beloved Essie metal blue nail polish. I don't remember when was the last time I actually touched this nail polish, probably been 4 - 6 months.

So things that I'm using today is...

• my blue nail clipper. got this at work and it clip nail nicely like no others could
• 2 pieces of paper towel :P i'm lazy when it comes to cleaning
  
• yellow buffer cube. a coworker gave me
• nail filer... dunno where did i get that
• cutex nail polish remover (w/ acetone).. not a healthy choice but it works great
• essie protein base #6011 (definitely something that i can not live without!)
• essie nail polish in Aruba Blue #280
• china glaze nail polish in Golden Enchantment #70886 (my new love)

Acrylic Nails

Recently I'm having some obsession on acrylic nails somehow :] But I'm just not crazy enough to spend like $80 for a set of nails in the salon yet... So I have decided to do some DIY maybe. I have ordered some decals online, hopefully I will get them sometimes this month. Then I can wear my design for Thanksgiving :P
