Acrylic Nails

Recently I'm having some obsession on acrylic nails somehow :] But I'm just not crazy enough to spend like $80 for a set of nails in the salon yet... So I have decided to do some DIY maybe. I have ordered some decals online, hopefully I will get them sometimes this month. Then I can wear my design for Thanksgiving :P

Nami's death still affect me so much. So today is my day off from work, but again, I didn't go out at all. Just spent my whole day at home doing nothing. But I did still put my makeup on real quick... just incase if I suddenly feel like to walk to 7-11 for some ice cream (._.) *aweeee*

But anyway, I look pretty washed out I know. Somehow I always look so pale in pictures. But if I apply more blush for the photo taking purpose, then it would just makes me look like a crowd in reality *sigh*

SaSa haul !

Yaddaaaa my SASA haul finally arrived today. It did arrive earlier than what I was expecting actually (order placed on oct 22nd). So here are my haul....

Right now I'm testing that kiwi yogurt mask on my face. I have never heard of SkinFood actually, though when I was doing search on the HK yahoo site and they happens to have their own site and even a flagship store in HK. Plus the review from sasa looked pretty good.... So anyway. We will see if it really works, but so far it just smell sooo good that I totally wanna lick it off my face lol

And as you can see, I have also ordered lot of Kuan Yuan Lian Cucumber Water (廣源良菜瓜水). Though I gotta say, it is actually not cucumber that what you or me are thinking about. It is another type of melon vegetable. I have no clue why they translated it to cucumber when it comes to English. So this cucumber water is basically similar to Evian or Avene water, which you could use for after sun burnt, cooling for summer or to set your makeup. It is extracted from natural cucumber stem, with no additive. So it should be suitable for all skin type.

Another thing that I have got is just a pack of facial absorbent paper from My Beauty Diary (我的美麗日記 吸油面紙). My beauty diary is a very famous brand from Taiwan. They are specialized in paper facial mask. Their facial masks are very effective yet very inexpensive. However, most of the sale ones are OOS on sasa. And those that are in stock @ sasa are all MUCH higher than the regular retail price. So I will just wait till I go back to Hong Kong to stock them up :P I'm a bit disappointed about their absorbent paper though, wish I would just order the Kuan Yuan Lian green bean powder instead. This facial absorbent is in the form that I hate the most - Paper. I'm too spoiled by Gatsby oil blotting sheet. So seems like the paper type would never work good on me somehow. And they just tend to break easily :/

Everyday Minerals Blush

Ever since I got hooked to the EDM foundation, I also started to try out their blushes as well. Mineral blushes are usually in loose form. EDM offers many shades, their color payout is supo! and the price tag is surely very friendly (as long as you order 12+ items :P) Their blushes are listed in 3 different formula: Matte, Sheen and Shimmer. Some of them are also Limited Edition (L/E). Here is my lil EDM blush collection. I will update when I get any new one :]

No-Buy or Low-Buy

To no-buy or to low-buy... and my decision is to low-buy to the point of trying to become no-buy if possible. Know what I am talking about?? Actually I've been low-buy for a few weeks already. Though with the turkey around the corner, all these stores are starting to have bunch of sales. Argg.. it's just so hard to resist!!! But anyway, I seriously do have enough skincare & cosmetics to use for AT LEAST a year. So... I'm gonna try to go through and finish most of them before adding more in the collection

missing nami...

I have been going to works with the buffed eyes for the past few days. The leaving of Nami is just too much for me to handle right now. I finally cleaned up her cage and threw most of the stuff away. of course, it made me cried like there was no tomorrow. I've been trying so hard to calm myself down. I know it was so hard for dad also. After all, he was the one who always feed Nami in the morning. Nami used to jump on him all the time when he was laying on the couch watch TV.

Her cage is still sitting in the kitchen. It just made me totally not wanting to go in there. I know dad wanted to pack and throw it away this morning. Though he stopped as soon as I walked out from my room. After all, Nami was truly a part of our family.

A coworker been offering me a kitten as his cat is recently pregnant again which is probably due sometime this month or so... Though I'm not too sure. I know, it would make me feel better to have something else to hold on. But... nami is just irreplaceable.
